Services for Sustainable Solutions
Research, Factfinding, and Needs Assessment
Staff create comprehensive and informative assessments using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate opportunities in priority areas. From forums to interviews to policy databases or census data, we pull out key information, identify gaps, and map next steps for clients ranging from local governments, healthcare foundations, and social service providers.
Program Design and Implementation
LSS works with clients to develop high-quality programs and effective implementation strategies that are innovative, sustainable, and evidence based. For example, we developed a $3.4 million community grant fund that aligned program goals with community-identified priorities.
Fiduciary Services
LSS can manage all steps of grantmaking and other payment services, from program design and materials development through processing payments, monitoring performance, and generating reports. As a backbone partner, we ensure our clients launch quickly, spend funds responsibly, and work effectively.
Capacity Building
Staff are skilled at grant writing, including multimillion dollar state and federal grants, as well as other capacity-building activities such as recruitment, performance enhancement, and education and training. We’ve supported local governments through grants or catalyst funds to launch large scale infill projects, and have managed the implementation of multimillion dollar grants for disaster recovery.
Stakeholder Engagement and Community Outreach
Staff have extensive experience in key informant interviews, survey research, materials development, focus groups, community meetings, and more. Outreach uses trauma-informed best practices in community engagement and the team is committed to accessibility. Staff develop outreach and engagement strategy for large and complex programs serving disaster survivors, including creating accessible materials and representing the program in public engagement settings. We are also experienced in qualitative data analysis and developing key trends and takeaways.
Project Management and Reporting
We support clients with project management for large and complex multimillion dollar grant applications, program design and development, project-specific staffing solutions, grants and fiduciary programs, and more. We also generate meaningful reports and evaluation assessing goals and outcomes of projects.
