LSS provides fiduciary services on behalf of health plans across multiple states through a variety of housing-related programs.  These programs help Medicaid members at risk of or experiencing homelessness pay for expenses that improve housing stability.

  • Housing Flex Funds cover an array of one-time or limited housing-related expenses with the goal of either supporting a member to remain housed or assisting them with accessing permanent housing.
  • Housing Deposits fund one-time services and modifications necessary to enable members to move into a new home. Funding can be used to support security deposits and first month’s rent, set-up fees/ deposits for utilities, services necessary for members’ health and safety, and goods/medically necessary adaptive aids to preserve members’ health and safety in the home.

Through its dedicated fund administration portal, LSS issues payments and places orders for household items based on requests submitted to the portal by health plan staff.

The LSS team cannot communicate directly with members but will respond to inquiries from care coordinators and housing navigators as swiftly as possible.
